For 16-25 year olds. 10am-4pm on Wednesday 15 August and Thursday 16 August.

Join Sara in this workshop to explore storytelling through Spoken Word and performance poetry. The 2-day workshop will culminate in a short performance on Thursday 15 August in The Kitchen (time TBC).

Sara Hirsch is a London grown poet and spoken word educator. She is a former UK Slam Champion,  third ranked in the World Slam Championships 2014, winner of the European Poetry Slam in Madrid 2016 and a 2017 BBC Slam Finalist . Sara has performed at Glastonbury, is a TEDx speaker, has featured on the BBC and has toured extensively both in the UK & Internationally.  She leads workshops in China, Thailand, New Zealand and Europe and will be attempting to gradually dismantle the patriarchy, one poem at a time.
