Storyhouse are delighted to announce the date for our next Teachers’ Network Event.
The Storyhouse Teacher’s Network gives local educators a space to come together with each other and the Young Storyhouse department, take part in creative conversations and build partnerships.
Taking place on Tuesday 9 May 2023, at 6:30pm, the event will focus on the transition from primary to secondary school, and the significant change young people will experience at that stage in their life. Together with Storyhouse’s Creative Learning Team, guest speaker Tara Jones, founder of LiMIT tech, will discuss our upcoming collaborative event scheduled for June 2023: Me, Myself and iPhone, which will explore the process of change and how to cope with the school transition, as well as phone use and social media consumption.
Attendees will also have access to FREE tickets to WORTH, taking place on the main stage directly after the event. Inspired by true events, WORTH takes a darkly comic look at family loss and sibling rivalry. Straddling two cultures, this biting new comedy asks the question – where do you put your worth? These tickets are limited and on a first-come-first-served basis, so please book your place soon to avoid disappointment!
To confirm your place at this event, please contact our Schools and Education Manager, Jacob, at jacob.maudsley@storyhouse.com with the name of your school and the names of the teacher/s who will be attending. Two places are available for each school. We look forward to seeing you there!
