The ZooLab animals will be participating in all sorts of mischief, pranks, escapades and shenanigans as they descend upon their local village fete. What could possibly go wrong?! At first it seems our animals are solely using their mischievous talents to win ALL the prizes. We soon find out that they are actually using their talents for a charitable purpose! They plan to send their winnings to their endangered Rhino pen-pal in Africa!
In this workshop you will be using role play, storytelling and animal handling to fire children’s imagination, confidence and love of the written and spoken word.
This event has been funded by your local councillor as part of the Summer Reading Challenge. Places are free for children who have registered to take part in the Summer Reading Challenge.
We will request emergency contact details from parents / carers so that children can take part in the event unsupervised. However, you must stay in Storyhouse during the activity. Please only book a free ticket for your child (not for adults).
