1913, Budapest. A young woman arrives in the Hungarian capital with hopes to work as a milliner at the hat store that belonged to her late parents. She is sent away by the new owner. However, whilst there she comes across a possible link to her past and only surviving relative.

As such she begins a search for her brother which takes her through the backstreets of Budapest on the brink of the first world war.
