Australian director Warwick Thornton, whose Samson & Delilah won the Camera d’Or at Cannes in 2009, returns with this shocking and hauntingly beautiful outback Western. Set on the Northern Territory frontier in the 1920s, an aged Aboriginal farmhand shoots a white man in self defence and goes on the run as posse gathers to hunt him down. The heat and the landscape form part of the drama in this intoxicating film about justice in a newly forming society.

There will be 15-20 minutes of trailers and adverts before the screening (not included in duration).
