Part of: Storyhouse Women

It’s the most important part of a happy, healthy sex life but what does it mean to give – or gain – consent?

Rather than relying on the idea of ‘no means no’ we should be striving to open a dialogue where we understand that a ‘yes’ should be fully informed and freely given. What factors can affect our ability to consent? And where does pleasure fit in? in this session we take a look at how to express what you want, don’t want, like and don’t like.

Rachel Walker is a sexual health educator for charity Body Positive and committee member of Chester Pride music, comedy and more for the Glitter Lounge.
