Historically, psychological and mental health research has been focused on males, thus disregarding the differences in the female brain.
Psychotherapist Gemma Leathley and therapeutic outreach worker Michaela Dalton will explore the development of current findings into female brain development from pre-birth through puberty and into older age, and discuss how hormonal cycles mean that everything we know as true is actually only true for men.
