On the occasion ofthe death of its beloved Kansas-born editor Arthur Howitzer, Jr., the staff of TheFrenchDispatch, a widely circulated American magazine based in theFrench city of Ennui-sur-Blasé, convenes to write his obituary. The French Dispatch is the 10th film from the visionary mind of Wes Anderson and brings to life a collection of stories from the final issue of the titular American magazine published in the fictional 20th-century French city. To say the cast is ‘all-star’ is an understatement and The French Dispatch has been highly anticipated by Anderson fans since it premiered in Cannes earlier this year.
