What was intended to be a peaceful protest at the Democratic National Convention in 1968 turned into a violent clash with the National Guard. The organisers of the protest – including Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, Tom Hayden and Bobby Seale – were charged with conspiracy to incite a riot and the following trial became one of the most notorious in modern American history.

The heavy-weight cast in this production is already generating early award season buzz.

Welcome back to Storyhouse. We put customer safety at the top of everything we do, however at this time that means a little more than making sure you don’t get struck inadvertently by an actor! It now also means keeping 2 metres apart and wearing a face covering whilst in the building, except when eating or drinking. We will be asking all our customer to both enjoy themselves and to stick to some easy to follow guidelines. Find out how we’re keeping you safe here

A note when you’re booking…

In order to help maintain social distancing at Storyhouse, seats have been held off so that there is ample space around audiences. To help us do this effectively, please only select a block of seats that match the number of people attending.
