Directed by Darren Aronofski
Starring Brendan Fraser, Hong Chau, Sadie Sink, Ty Simpkins, Samantha Morton

From acclaimed director Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan) comes The Whale, a delicate and moving drama about love, life, grief, and mortality – based on the acclaimed play by Samuel D. Hunter.

Charlie is an English teacher living with severe obesity. As he feels his time is running out, he makes a last bold attempt to reconcile with his broken family. Soon, Charlie must confront, with his full heart and fierce wit, long-buried traumas and unspoken love that have haunted him for decades.

Brendan Fraser returns to the big screen with a dynamite tour-de-force performance, alongside an authentically anguished turn from Hong Chau (The Menu) and a terrific showing by young actor Sadie Sink (Stranger Things).

WINNER of 2 Academy Awards including Best Actor (Brendan Fraser), and Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
