Directed by Ruben Ostlund
Starring Harris Dickinson, Charlbi Dean Kriek, Woody Harrelson, Carolina Gynning, Dolly De Leon

Winner of the 2022 Palm D’Or at Cannes Ruben Ostlund’s (The Square, Force Majeure) latest is another blackly comic satire.

Carl and Yaya are fashion models and influencers who have been gifted a trip on a luxury cruise. Fellow passengers include a Russian Oligarch and his wife, and an elderly couple of British arms dealers, and the ship is captained by a cynical Marxist alcoholic with a crew that are seemingly at the whim of the capricious clients on board. When the ship gets into trouble the tables are turned as the films moves from satire to farce in scenes that expose and question who exactly is dependent on who.

After taking on the art world in The Square, Ostlund turns his attention to high fashion and the super-rich in Triangle of Sadness.
