Tune in to the TV Time Machine and take a look back at television programming in the North of England.

Charting the history of television in the North, from first broadcasts to award-winning documentaries and regional news output.  This specially curated screening will bring the small screen to the big screen, remembering familiar TV personalities such as architecture critic Ian Nairn and revealing local content from more in-depth current affairs series and news magazine programmes.

Tailored to a Chester audience, TV Time Machine: TV Comes North features archive news footage from Chester and the surrounding area, with introductions by Geoff Senior from Film Archive North West.
