Vanessa Gebbie is a critically acclaimed writer of stories from 10 to 100,000 words. Her books include four short-story collections: Words from a Glass Bubble; Storm Warning: Echoes of ConflictEd’s Wife and Other Creatures; and, her latest, Nothing to Worry About: Flash Fictions, a delightful combination of the serious and the surreal. 

Vanessa will talk about her very short stories and read from her collections.  

The event will be hosted by Drs Peter Blair and Ashley Chantler, Department of English, University of Chester.
