Welcome back to Storyhouse. We put customer safety at the top of everything we do, however at this time that means a little more than making sure you don’t get struck inadvertently by an actor! It now also means keeping 2 metres apart and wearing a face covering on the move inside the building. We will be asking all our customer to both enjoy themselves and to stick to some easy to follow guidelines. Find out how we’re keeping you safe here.

Director: Bruce Robinson
Stars: Paul McGann, Richard E. Grant, Richard Griffiths

Set in 1969, two out of work actors Withnail (Richard E. Grant), a hedonistic, flamboyant alcoholic and his disillusioned companion Marwood (Paul McGann) trade in their unkempt Camden flat for the idyllic Cumbrian countryside for a weekend. Their retreat proves to be a less than relaxing experience. Thwarted by boredom, unwelcoming locals, the weather, and Withnail’s intrusive Uncle Monty (Richard Griffiths).

A note when you’re booking…

In order to help maintain social distancing at Storyhouse, seats have been held off so that there is ample space around audiences. To help us do this effectively, please only select a block of seats that match the number of people attending.
