Are you a writer with a “work in progress” you’d like to share? Perhaps you’re a spectator seeking inspiration. Work in Progress is an informal and supportive space for writers to share developing work with a like-minded audience- page and drink in hand. Share excerpts of up to 500 words and receive optional feedback! All written forms are welcome e.g., prose, scripts, spoken word etc. Sign up to read on the night or attend as a spectator!

To submit your interest, or if you have any access requirements we may be able to support you with, please contact Samantha at

Some ways we have supported people include:
– Printing/ printing onto coloured paper,
– Providing venue accessibility information,
– Providing somebody to read for you.

Disclaimer: As a community venue, we encourage writing which is inclusive and accepting of the diverse and multi-faceted society in which we live.
