10 December is Human Rights Day and the theme set by the United Nations this year is ‘Dignity, Freedom, and Justice for All’.
Join hundreds of thousands of Amnesty supporters around the world by taking part in our annual Write for Rights campaign to show your solidarity for individuals enduring human rights abuses. As past campaigns have shown, your messages of solidarity are a great source of comfort and support for people doing the difficult and often dangerous work of standing up for human rights.
Your letters, words and actions also put pressure on the authorities to take action to free prisoners of conscience, protect the vulnerable, and bring perpetrators of human rights abuses to justice.
