What's happening in In Dreams Are Monsters?

For over a century, Horror cinema has brought to life the horror within us, and the horror outside. In Dreams Are Monsters is a major UK-wide film and events season led by the BFI (British Film Institute), charting how the monsters of horror have evolved, made physical the anxieties of their times, and how we react when faced with the monster within.

Throughout October, Storyhouse will be presenting special screenings both inside the building and outside at the Carriage Shed.

Get ready to be immersed, enchanted, and spooked by a series of events and screenings, including a live presentation of the earliest vampire film Nosferatu with a score by quartet Frame, atmospheric screenings of Halloween favourites including The Lost Boys and Night of The Living Dead, plus some unusual examples of vampire films from around the world. A treat for fans of cult and late night cinema.

In Dreams Are Monsters: A Season of Horror Films, is a UK-wide film season supported by the National Lottery and BFI Film Audience Network. indreamsaremonsters.co.uk
