What's happening in Summer Of Stig?

Join us at Storyhouse for a special summer of family activities, films and events to celebrate Stig of the Dump at Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre!

A magical new version of the beloved story, with a brand new wild and wonderful twist.

While the other children excitedly begin their summer holidays, Barney finds himself stuck in a new village with no-one to make friends with. Why? Because Barney is Deaf.

That is, until he takes a tumble into the deep, meets a caveman and begins an unforgettable adventure, where everyone is invited. Join the junkyard band, discover an amazing new language and go wild with a caveman in this riotous celebration of friendship and kindness, adapted by acclaimed writer Jess Swale (Horrible Histories The Movie).

In the Library
The Storytelling Room has  been transformed into Stig’s Cave – the décor rocks! Help us create some more artefacts, create some cave paintings and join our hunter gatherer trail!

In the Cinema
Settle down for caveman-themed family films in the cinema.

At the Park
Complete your Summer of Stig by experiencing Stig of the Dump at the magical Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre – kids can join in with the junkyard band!
