The Storyhouse Stage is the main theatre in its 500-seat “thrust” format.  Audiences wrap around the stage in an amazingly intimate way.  Inspired by the country’s great historical stages and with more than a hint of our own Grosvenor Park stage,  this is where we create and present our own work between May and August, and during Christmas.

Seating is arranged simply as follows:

  • Pit: Floor level seating wrapping around the stage.
  • Circle: Slightly elevated, mostly in front but also around the stage
  • Gallery: Above the circle, mostly in front but also around the stage

Wheelchair spaces are in the Circle and Gallery levels (click here for more info about accessibility).
