Flexible booking

We do not issue refunds, but you can exchange your ticket for a different performance of the same show (where possible) if you let us know with more than 48 hours notice. The exception to this is for Covid cases – if you buy a ticket for a show and you can’t come because you or a member of your party have tested positive for Covid, we will refund you ticket, and those of the rest of your party if you wish. Find out more about Booking Policies and how to request an exchange or a Covid case refund here.

On the door

We do a quick bag check as you come in. As a large venue with big audiences, keeping visitors safe is our priority. Thank you for your understanding.

Inside the theatre

100% of the air in the theatre is fresh and not recirculated.

Socially distanced screenings

Most of our shows and screenings are now at full capacity however we do have some socially distant cinema screenings.  You can find full details of all current socially distanced events here

The building

Storyhouse is an airy and spacious environment. There are hand sanitisers throughout the building, and compulsory cleaning at certain points.

We ask our staff to take a test before coming to work, and we encourage visitors to do the same.

Face coverings

Storyhouse service staff will still be wearing face coverings and we encourage all visitors to wear a face covering whilst on the move in Storyhouse (unless exempt).

We’re committed to making masks available for free, to all our visitors, as well as hand sanitiser.
