A Christmas Carol Seating & Tickets

Information for customers from Tier 3 areas:
If the Government advice is not to travel to Chester to see the show from where you are please do not do so – even if that is guidance and not the law. If you find yourself unable to come due to restrictions, let us know and we’ll try to move your ticket.

Book with Confidence.
Times are uncertain, and Christmas is coming. To combat that we are staging nearly 100 shows to limited numbers for A Christmas Carol. If we have to delay or move a show, we will put another one on and keep on doing it until we’ve given everyone a Happy Christmas.  We will try our best to accommodate everyone.

Seating. We’re selling socially-distanced tickets in groups of 2 to 6. They are colour-coded on the seating plan, so should be easy to spot. If you can’t find a group of the right size for you on the date you want, then fill in this form and we will try to help.

Ticket Prices. Ticket prices are the same for all seats in a performance, so the best seats are on a first come, first served basis. Members’ prices are £23, £25, £27 depending on the date, non-members cost 10% more plus a booking fee. It will cost you less to buy just one ticket and a membership together, today. Become a Member here.

Donation tickets. The face value of eacg A Christmas Carol ticket includes a non-returnable donation of £10. Sharing this small risk with us helps us stage this show in the current climate and provides an insurance against the cost of cancellation.

Moving your tickets. If for any personal Covid-related reason (such as isolation or illness) you can’t come, just let us know up to 24 hours before your booked performance and we’ll move your tickets to another date. Use this form to let us know. Members will not need to pay the £2.50 exchange fee.

Distancing in the theatre. We have only 180 tickets per show on sale. Head here for details on our Covid safety measures. Remember to check the latest gov.uk guidelines here – currently only households and support bubbles should book tickets to sit together.

Interval. There is no interval and the show will last around 80 minutes. This is to avoid a queue at the loo and get you home before any (potential) curfew.

Arrival. With lower seating numbers we don’t need to stagger entry but we will be managing this carefully so please aim to arrive 30 minutes before the show starts so that we can help everyone get seated.

Your booking is saving jobs and creating community. Head here for our statement on this. Thank you!
