This event includes music, stories and audience participation around how singing can help us process our emotions, calm our feelings and empower us through our lives as involuntarily childless women.
The song Calm After the Storm was originally created as part of a study into Involuntarily Childlessness, and written through women coming together to sing. The doctoral research was conducted by Laura Curtis through the Don Wright Faculty of Music, Western University Ontario, Canada.
