Storyhouse Futures: Earth's Futures as Predicted Through the Stories of Doctor Who

For over 60 years the BBC’s Doctor Who has travelled throughout time and space, many stories taking viewers to a variety of different future Earth’s. Join Adrian Davies for a journey through these imagined environmental futures, where he will talk about the different stories and what they think the Earth might be like. Starting in the 60’s we’ll include a look at the near future as seen in 1970’s stories and travel through the decades to the most recent stories and what they suggest might be in store for our world….

Adrian Davies is Procurement Manager at University of Chester where he has been working since 2017 and was delighted to be back in Chester after having graduated in 1993 from what was then Chester College with a BA (Hons) in Theatre Studies and English Literature. Adrian has been interviewed on a number of BBC Radio stations over the last few years about Doctor Who and has been a superfan of the programme since he was 4 years old.
