Storyhouse Futures: Explore the Electric Mobile Library

Visit Cheshire West and Chester Libraries’ brand new all-electric mobile library as it makes it’s first city centre stop for Storyhouse Futures.

The new vehicle means cleaner greener travel to bring library services to rural locations, as well as other sustainable features including solar panels and LED lighting.

This contributes to Cheshire West and Chester Council’s aim to be carbon neutral by 2030.

The new vehicle is fully accessible and includes a hearing loop, on-board Wi-Fi and digital services access for customers, and an awning for summer activities.
