Storyhouse Childless: Lunchtime Walk

Join us for a lunchtime walk around Chester’s historic city centre. A chance to take a break, stretch your legs in the fresh air or perhaps continue the conversation. Your guide will show you some of the main sights of this ancient walled city and the vibrant Northgate quarter with Storyhouse at its heart.

About Katie Crowther (your guide)
Katie was born and brought up in Cheshire. Chester was always a favourite destination for family days out and she quickly fell in love with the city. However, after studying languages at university, somehow fell into a 30-year London based career in international finance. But in 2021, she realised a long-time dream and moved back north to Chester.
Having qualified in 2022 as a Green Badge Tourist Guide, she is loving sharing her passion for Chester with visitors and locals alike. Katie leads a wide variety of tours, including the Women of Chester guided walk launched with two fellow Green Badge Guides that tells the history of the city through the lives of the women who lived and worked here.
Katie is childless by circumstance and is very much looking forward to taking part in the weekend.
