Welcome back to Storyhouse. We put customer safety at the top of everything we do, however at this time that means a little more than making sure you don’t get struck inadvertently by an actor! It now also means keeping 2 metres apart and wearing a face covering on the move inside the building. We will be asking all our customer to both enjoy themselves and to stick to some easy to follow guidelines. Find out how we’re keeping you safe here.
Directed by: Autumn De Wilde
Starring: Anya Taylor-Joy, Johnny Flynn, Bill Nighy
Austen’s famous matchmaker Emma Woodhouse gets a handsome and stylish big-screen outing in this debut feature by acclaimed photographer Autumn De Wilde.
Emma is one of Austen’s best-loved comedy of manners with the titular anti-heroine gleefully interfering in matters of the heart with her friends and neighbours whilst displaying a lack of self-awareness of her own predicaments and feelings.
