The always-popular Poetry Pub Crawl is back for 2016 with writer Molly Naylor and indie-fold legend Gavin Osborn take you on a tour of some of Chester’s cosiest pubs. Sit back and enjoy a drink as the pair dazzle with their words (with not a script in sight). Cheers!

About the hosts

Molly Naylor is a writer and performer who makes make live theatre shows that are often a combination of storytelling, spoken word and stand-up. Molly also writes scripts for TV, film and radio, including After Hours, a TV comedy co-written and created with John Osborne and produced and directed by Craig Cash. Molly currently working on a graphic novel, two feature film projects and a short film.

London singer-songwriter Gavin Osborn now based in Bristol/Bath mixes bitter-sweet romance with wry comedy. Usually appearing as a solo artist, but occasionally performs with a cellist and backing vocalist. “Gavin Osborn writes minutely detailed, bittersweet story-songs on an acoustic guitar and sings them with a comic timing usually absent from the works of his anti-folk contemporaries” – Stewart Lee, Sunday Times.
