Russell will be joined by George Lewis, Suzi Ruffell and Charlie Baker.

Stockport born and bred, Comedian/Writer/Actor George Lewis is one of the most exciting acts to burst on to the scene in recent years. George is a multi-award winner, having won the Amused Moose Laugh Off, Nando’s New Comedian of the Year, The Brighton Squawker Award, the Comedy Cafe New Act of the Year, the Comedy Knights Fresh Comedian of the Year. In 2016 he was runner up in the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, was selected to perform as part of the Pleasance Reserve and went on to beat 700 other comics to reach the final of the BBC New Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Fringe.

2017 saw George join the Top Gear team as the new host of Top Gear: Extra Gear alongside Rory Reid and Chris Harris. Airing on BBC Three, BBC Two and BBC America, the show featured behind the scenes footage from the main show, bespoke VTs and the latest news from the car world. March 2017 saw George identified as a rising star in broadcasting by being named on the BBC New Talent Hotlist at an event hosted by Tony Hall and Idris Elba.

Suzi Ruffell’s innovative style captivates audiences with her engrossing tales of social ineptitude. Lauded as ‘a real stand up gem’ by The Guardian this young independent woman celebrates her working-class roots with a sideways look at the world.

Regarded as one of best up and coming acts, Suzi was nominated for the Best Breakthrough Act at The Chortle Awards in 2017.  She is in constant demand at clubs and theatres across Britain.  Fast establishing herself on the live circuit supporting Alan Carr, Josh Widdicombe and Kevin Bridges on tour she then went onto have a sell-out double header tour with Romesh Ranganathan in the spring of 2015.  Her 2016 and 2017 runs at the Edinburgh Festival saw her sell-out and receive critical acclaim nabbing the working-class comedy crown of her generation.  Suzi’s television appearances include two series of Comedy Central ‘The Comedy Store’ and ‘Comedy Roast Battle’, Channel 4’s ‘It Was Alright in the 70s’, BBC3’s ‘Climaxed’, ‘Ed Fest Live’, E4’s ‘Virtually Famous’. Suzi is also a regular on Radio 4 including ‘News Quiz’ and ‘The Now Show’.

Outside the realms of stand-up, Suzi co-hosts a hit podcast ‘Like Minded Friends’ with her fellow comedian Tom Allen.  She is also a talented actor and writer, with one of her sitcoms nominated for a BAFTA Roclidde New Writing Award. She has also written additional material for TV shows such as The Last Leg, Mock The Week and 8 Out Of 10 Cats.

Charlie Baker’s versatile talent as a stand-up comedian, actor, and highly acclaimed jazz-singer has seen him earn a reputation as ‘a superior take on the modern showman’ (The Guardian). He has starred in Sky1’s Harry Hill’s Teatime, BBC2’s The Premier League Show, Extra Slice, Channel 4’s Comedy Gala, The Superhuman Show and Comedy Central’s, The Comedy Store. The avid sports fan Charlie has been heard on BBC 5Live’s Fighting Talk and covering on talksport’s Hawkesbee & Jacobs Show he also has a cult podcast The National Obsession.

As a talented actor he has starred in BBC 1’s Eastenders, Doctor Who, The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas as well as the hit West End musical I Can’t Sing where he played the hunchback with “a hilarious rap number” (The Telegraph).  Charlie is currently touring his show The Hit Polisher as well as hosting his regular sell-out variety show Charlie Baker’s Cabaret Boulangerie at London’s The Other Palace.
