Storyhouse Summer Club is a completely free 4-day Summer Club (10-2pm each day except for one day where they will be taken to Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre and so the day will be longer) at Storyhouse for 5-11 year olds who are in receipt of means-tested benefits. Each day will be filled with games and fun, and lunch and a snack will be provided!
Who is eligible?
Children aged 5-11 years whose parents/guardians are in receipt of:
Income Support
Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
Working Tax Credit run-on – paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
Universal Credit – (if you apply on or after 1 April 2018 your household income must be less than £7,400 a year)
If your child is aged 7+, they may also receive free school meals.

Who will be running Storyhouse Summer Club?
Storyhouse’s Creative Learning Practitioner Jacob will be running the Summer Club each day. In term-time, Jacob runs sessions for Storyhouse at local primary schools. You can find a little more out about Jacob here.
