Directed by Todd Field
Starring Cate Blanchette, Nina Hoss, Noemie Meriant, Mark Strong, Sophie Kauer

A psychological drama set in the world of classical music, the film traces the life and downfall of Lydia Tar (Cate Blanchette)– a great composer-conductor, and the first female to be a director of a major German Orchestra.

Blanchette won the best actress award at the 2022 Venice Film Festival for her portrayal of a woman undone by her own toxic behaviour and the relentless scrutiny of modern celebrity.
