Directed by the late Roger Michell (Notting Hill), The Duke is a charming British comedy drama starring Jim Broadbent as a 60-year-old Geordie, Kempton Bunton who decides to make a stand to demand better treatment for the elderly by holding a famous painting of The Duke of Wellington to ransom. Helen Mirren plays his long-suffering wife, Dorothy, who is driven to distraction by her husband’s rogue behaviour.
