Summer Reading Challenge 2025

Children under 12 can join this year’s Summer Reading Challenge running from 5 July until 7 September.

The reading challenge is a great way to enjoy reading in all formats over the summer holidays. This year, the theme is Story Garden, encouraging children to enjoy the outdoors too.

Under 4s also have their own special ‘Mini Challenge’ with their own sticker chart to fill up.

Call in to Storyhouse or your local library to pick up a collector’s pack and start the challenge.

Every child who completes the challenge will receive a certificate and a medal!
