Chester Contemporary Emerging Artists

Chester Contemporary is a major visual arts event for Chester, curated by Chester-born artist Ryan Gander. As part of the programme and in conjunction with Storyhouse, five emerging artists have been commissioned to show their work. Join us to hear the artists in conversation with Maggie Jackson, Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Chester. They’ll discuss their practise, provocations and creative journeys to date – as well as their experience at the Chester Contemporary, and what it’s like to develop a career as a professional artist in 2023.
