Alicia Silverstone stars as Cher Horowitz, a smart, stylish and well-meaning Beverly Hills teen who’s determined to improve the love lives of everyone around her. But when her latest project, the clumsy and unconfident new girl Tai (Brittany Murphy), starts climbing the social ladder, Cher begins to realise that maybe it’s her own heart that needs attention.

The 6pm screening on Wed 2 July will be introduced by Katie Barnett, Senior Lecturer in Film and Media Studies at the University of Chester.
