Reconstructing Roman Chester

Event details

From the massive Roman fortress of Chester to the largest amphitheatre ever discovered in Britain, no one has achieved more in visualising how the ancient city looked nearly 2,000 years ago than talented CGI artist Julian Baum. After 40 years in the industry working on exciting projects for NASA and broadcast television documentaries for BBC, ITV and Sky Television, Julian explores how he interprets and recreates the past, as well the process and challenges along the way in his fascinating illustrated presentation.
