At Storyhouse we’re committed to accessibility – and that includes how you hear the show.
We’ve introduced a cutting-edge assistive listening system using Auri™, powered by Ampetronic, which utilises Auracast™ broadcast audio technology, the latest Bluetooth® Low Energy audio standard, to stream high-quality audio directly to compatible devices.
How It Works

Auri systems broadcast performance audio throughout the venue via Auracast transmitters.

Audience members with Auracast-compatible devices — such as hearing aids, earbuds, headphones, or smartphones — can tune into the broadcast much like selecting a Wi-Fi network.

For those without compatible devices, venue-provided receivers make the audio accessible too.
