Four young people from Winsford can be found on the side of the South Bank Centre in London as part of the Our Freedom: Then and Now Exhibition.
The Winsford Young Photographers formed because of a holiday activity organised by Storyhouse. The young people were mentored by professional photographers, curators and even a local social media influencer to learn how to take their own photos and put together an exhibition about Winsford. Their exhibition has since been on a local tour, starting at Winsford Library before moving to Storyhouse and can now be enjoyed at New Images Youth Centre in Winsford.
In October 2025 Tadgh Devlin captured this beautiful photo of the Winsford Young Photographers – which has now become part of the nationwide exhibition at the South Bank Centre in London.
We are delighted to announce that Storyhouse will be delivering Winsford Young Film Makers at New Images Youth Centre in October 2026. If you would like to sign up, please get in touch with learning@storyhouse.com.
