Become a Storyhouse Trustee!

Storyhouse is looking to appoint two further trustees to its board of trustees.

Storyhouse is a major UK theatre and combined arts producer, and runs Chester’s recently opened, and highly acclaimed, theatre, library, cinema and restaurant complex. It houses the country’s third largest repertory company (after the National and RSC) and Storyhouse is the first major UK arts organisation to run a city library. It is a consistent innovator both on stage and through its community programmes.

Current board members have a range of backgrounds and experience, the only common factor being a keen interest in arts, education and cultural activities. The board has a strategic, non-executive, function and its members give their services freely. Storyhouse is an equal opportunities organisation and all applications are welcome irrespective of gender, race, disability, sexual orientation or religion.

We are particularly keen to increase representation from women and young people on our board.

Potential applicants can express interest and obtain more information about the role and remit of board members, and the applications process, from emma.madge@storyhouse.com.

Formal applications should be received by 29 July.
