Casting call for Julius Caesar

Community casting call for Julius Caesar
Directed by Loveday Ingram

Interested in performing in one of our opening shows at Storyhouse?

Julius Caesar embodies this age of political uncertainty and controversial leaders. Our production of Shakespeare’s immortal thriller will be given new relevance and a contemporary twist and we want you to be part of this. Join our chorus and develop your performing skills alongside a company of 15 professional actors.

Storyhouse is looking to cast 15 men and women aged 17 and over in our community cast for Loveday Ingram’s production of Julius Caesar, which will be performed both at Storyhouse and at Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre. Throughout the production of Julius Caesar community members will act in many different scenes playing several character from out of control rebels to ruthless politicians to help us tell a timeless story.

We are looking for a group of people who are enthusiastic about becoming part of our ensemble from all backgrounds, with or without stage experience. Storyhouse is about bringing people from the Chester community together and we don’t want that to stop at the foot of the stage. We want to fill both stages in door and out with people from Chester.
