Schools Tour: Romeo and Juliet

Following on from the success of Twelfth NightThe Tempest and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Storyhouse are delighted to present our next touring Shakespearian production, created specifically for young people: Romeo and Juliet.

Journey to Verona for a fast-paced, abridged re-telling of Shakespeare’s classic tale that will run for around 50 minutes.

Developed as part of WayWord Festival, this is a fantastic opportunity to introduce your students to Shakespeare and bring live performance to your school hall.

Feedback from teachers from our previous schools’ tours:

“The cast were brilliant, best we have had, and this is our third year! Loved the modern theme to the play, the children loved it.” – Primary Teacher, Oaklands School

“A phenomenal production!” – Head of Performing Arts, Blacon High School

The show is followed by a short Q&A with members of the cast and can be supplemented by workshops and other resources. We have both morning (approx. 10am) and afternoon (approx. 1pm) performance slots available to book between Monday 12th October and Friday 23rd October 2026.

The show is priced at £595 per performance.
