Storyhouse Library is back to host more family fun at Grosvenor Park in Chester!

Where is Storyhouse in the Park?

Storyhouse in the Park is located in Grosvenor Park, in the heart of Chester city centre.

Find us using postcode CH1 1QQ (Vicars Lane). You can also follow the AA Road Signs to Open Air Theatre.

Local, regional and national train services all run from Chester Station, which is approx. 10 minute walk away. Chester Bus Interchange is also a 10 minute walk away.

Is there parking at Grosvenor Park?

The nearest car park is the NCP at Pepper Street, which is open until midnight. Follow the AA road signs for parking and Grosvenor Park. This multi-storey car park is located next to the stunning Roman Gardens and City Walls. Disabled parking is available for Blue Badge holders.

Please check car park closing times, as our screenings may finish a little later in the event of a delay.

Street parking is also available on evenings and weekends, just a few minutes’ walk away.

Is there Food & Drink at Grosvenor Park?

Street food including fresh, wood-fired pizza, burgers and fries will be available to buy onsite. You can also bring your own food and snacks.

Are there toilets and baby changing?

Yes! There will be toilets available at both sites, including accessible toilets. Baby changing facilities can be found in the accessible toilets.

Is Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre accessible?

The festival site at Storyhouse in the Park is accessible, with step-free access and concrete pathways leading through the park. Please note that the theatre area itself is located on a grass field. Accessible toilets are available within the festival site, and our friendly team will be on hand throughout your visit to offer any help or guidance you may need.
