Queer East Festival returns to Chester with a showcase of films exploring East and Southeast Asia’s ever-evolving queer landscape at Storyhouse Cinema.
Season highlights include the UK premiere of Tracy Choi’s Cantonese-language, female-centred romantic drama Girlfriends and Jota Mi’s poignant South Korean documentary Between Goodbyes, alongside Kashou Iizuka’s riveting 1970s Tokyo courtroom drama Blue Boy Trial and Joonho Park’s vibrant coming-of-age underground Seoul drama 3670.
