Play your part in the pick-up and borrow some bits to make your area beautiful. Lend some litter-picking lovelies, grab that garbage and see what a delightful difference you can make. There’s no better time to pop in and pick up a kit containing everything you need to spruce up your street!

Our litter picking kits provide you with the equipment to carry out litter picking within your community – why not get together with your neighbours and form a litter blitzing team, or go solo and enjoy some fresh air, knowing that you’re making a difference to your community!

The kits are provided by the Council’s StreetCare team and include a litter picker, hi-vis vest and bags. Simply check a kit out on your library card, just like a book, and you can keep hold of it for three months! You can even ask us to renew it to give you longer to get the job done!

The library team will be on hand in the lobby to give you some more information and show you how to borrow a kit.
