“A page-turning story with a huge heart that will transport you back in time”
Join beloved actor and author, and standout star of The Celebrity Traitors Celia Imrie for a lively conversation with long-time collaborator, writer, director and historian Fidelis Morgan, as they discuss Imrie’s latest historical novel, Meet Me at Rainbow Corner.
Set in wartime London, the novel brings to life the vibrant world of Rainbow Corner, the famous social club for American servicemen, where men and women gathered to dance and more during the Second World War. Celia and Fidelis will share the inspiration behind the story, the real history that shaped it, and the joys and challenges of blending historical fact with historical fiction.
Perfect for fans of historical fiction, theatre and television alike.
This is part a new series of events co-produced between Storyhouse and HistFest.
