Filmmakers Emma Matthew’s and Christopher Petit’s unique and tender new film is a meditation on cinema, the NHS and family relationships. D is for Distance tells the story of the filmmakers’ son Louis, and his debilitating epilepsy, through an extraordinary archive of personal footage and Jodhi May’s narration.
This is a preview screening of D Is For Distance on Purple Day, an internationally recognised epilepsy awareness day.
