Event details

Visit the Kaleidoscope Marketplace today where there will be 12 different organisations presenting the services they offer plus an interactive activity.

As well as browsing the stalls take the opportunity to meet up with friends in The Kitchen and Garret Bar.

CANDDID, hosted by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

Caroline Mogan and here team will be here representing The Centre for Autism, Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Intellectual Disability which brings together, education, training, and research in the fields of neurodevelopmental disorders and intellectual disabilities. During the event they will be share some of the work we do and let you know how you can get involved.

Learning Disability Nursing Students  –  West Cheshire Community Learning Disability Team (CLDT). 

Harry, Lauren and Cora are newly qualified nurses and will be here to talk to you about the work they will be providing which includes: providing specialist assessment, advice, intervention and health promotion, helping people with learning disabilities to remain health, independent and actively involved in their communities.

The Bren Project Laura from The Bren Project will be here to talk about Bren Bews and Bren Bikes. The Bren project is a small, independent charity offering people with learning disabilities and autism the opportunity to experience supported, bespoke work placements in Chester and the surrounding area.

West Cheshire Credit Union Ltd

Caroline (Community Outreach Officer) will be at Storyhouse helping you understand budgeting when shopping, banking and any scams to watch out for.

Chester Zoo

‘Alex from Chester Zoo will be here to talk about how you can get involved with the zoo. Learn about the volunteer and job roles and find out which ones are best for you. There will also be a chance to learn about some of the wildlife!’
