One Life tells the remarkable true story of British humanitarian Nicholas Winton, who following a visit to Prague on the cusp of World War II managed to help get hundreds of children to safety by galvanising support from British Government, the civil service, and ordinary families across Britain to provide foster homes for children fleeing the Nazi occupation.
