Storyhouse Sessions and Blue Lantern: Open-Mic Night
Event details
Join us for a relaxed and uplifting Blue Lantern community night celebrating local songwriters and musicians. This is your chance to share your original music (or a favourite cover or two) on a professional stage with a warm, supportive audience.
Performers from the Saturday workshop will also have the opportunity to showcase their newly written songs — if they’re feeling brave!
Hosted by Igloo Hearts, the evening will feature guest performances from their musician friends, creating an inspiring and intimate night of live music, connection and creativity.
It’s the perfect opportunity to network with other songwriters, poets and musicians, enjoy high-quality live music, and be part of a vibrant creative community.
Plus, a special prize for performance of the night – a chance to open a future Blue Lantern show!
Everyone who performs will be entered into a prize draw to win Blue Lantern sessions tickets to a date of their choosing.
Opportunity to perform as part of Blue Lantern for ‘performer of the night’.
Please sumbit your interest with some info about your musical genre to programming@storyhouse.com
Please note: Not all submissions can be guaranteed a place based on popularity but the team will come back to you to confirm either way.
This is a Pay What You Can event – choose from £3-£10.
Storyhouse is a charity, an independent arts centre and creative hub.
