Set in Rome during a time of political unrest, the opera follows the celebrated singer Floria Tosca as she becomescaught between her love for the artist Mario Cavaradossi and the ruthless power of Baron Scarpia. As danger closes in, Tosca is forced to make an impossible choice with devastating consequences.Featuring the famous aria Vissi d’arte and some of Puccini’s most dramatic music, Tosca combines powerful storytelling, magnificent staging and emotional intensity.
