Winsford Young Photographers

We are looking for budding photographers to join the Winsford Young Photographers Project.

Do you live in Winsford? Are you aged 11-15? Are you interested in learning about photography?
Join our FREE 3-day holiday activity in October half term.

You will:

• Engage in exciting photography workshops with professional artists.
• Work in teams to explore Winsford and capture photos with cameras provided by Storyhouse.
• Complete practical tasks and challenges set by the Storyhouse team.
• Learn how to frame and hang your own photographs.
• Plan and curate your own exhibition, including an exhibition launch event at a local venue.
• Receive a complementary lunch each day.

After exhibiting the photos in a local venue, the exhibition will tour to Storyhouse in December.

Participants and their families will be invited to reunite for an exhibition launch at Storyhouse followed by a free trip to watch ‘Beauty and the Beast’ at our theatre.

The theme of the project will be ‘Freedom’ and ‘Futures’ in line with the Winsford Freedom Project and Storyhouse Futures, and will be based at New Images Youth Centre in Winsford.
